THE WAITING GAME...

On Sunday, I started having contractions. They were frequent, about every 5 minutes, and getting stronger.
Off to the hospital we went.
We spent about 4 hours in the hospital and I was having contractions the entire time...but...I was only dilated to a 3.
I didn't want to be induced.
They told me I could go home for a couple hours or stay. We decided to go home.
I ran sprints and stairs hoping that would help things along.
Well, nothing happened and my contractions stopped completely.
Bummer.
So...4 days later I am still waiting for this peanut to come.
She already has a mind of her own.
Can my belly get any bigger?

Really???

So, the pregnant comments never cease to amaze me. I have been receiving them frequently and decided I need to document them. So let the documentation begin...

1- You are so cut pregnant...you look miserable though. (How do I take this??)
2- (At the Dan's checkout stand and the cashier says) Attention we have a customer stealing a watermelon.
3- You are about to burst. (Thank you as if I didn't know)

UPDATE

We have been busy: We are remodeling the basement. With an older home this always becomes more work than expected. We are in it deep.
I think Oli would prefer the basement to be unfinished because he gets to skate and bike. Lately, he has been sleeping with his skateboard again. The first thing he said to me this morning was, "Skate mom. Helmet."

Over Presidents day, we took Oli skiing at Solitude. He loves it. When we finish a run, he says, "I ski fast!" He is a trooper. I don't know what he loves more, skiing, or getting french fries at the lodge.

Oli has started calling me "Tiff". When I ask him a question he looks at me and says, "Yeah Tiff" He is so funny!

I am due in 3 weeks and feeling ready to have this little munchkin out of my belly.
