rad

Brad has been gone a ton lately and Oli and I haven't seen him much. Having him gone so much really made me realize how much he does, and how much Oli and I need him. Oli adores him and follows him everywhere. You can already tell that Oli admires his dad so much. Brad has two cool jobs- Oli loves to go to the airport to visit dad at work, and I know he will love to visit dads other job on the ski hill. I am so grateful for Brad. Oli has a pretty RAD dad, which makes me have a pretty RAD husband. So here is to rad dads!!!

trying to escape

The air quality in Salt Lake is such a bummer. It has been terrible for way too long. We are trying to escape it as much as possible. Oli and I went on a hike today. It was so beautiful! The sun was shining and the air was clear. We are hoping for some good storms to clear out the crap so we can breath and ski. Seriously... where are you snow????

Oli is climbing on anything and everything.

Happy New Year!!!

winter wonderland

We have enjoyed the month of December. We love spending time with family and friends. Christmas was amazing. Oliver loved opening the presents and playing with the boxes. Brad is now working part time at Solitude on ski patrol. He works Saturdays and we couldn't be more happy about it. We both get ski passes, and he is doing something he loves. We are so blessed!
Oliver playing in the snow.
Brad is a little anxious for the little one to go touring.

sledding in Brads super old kayak. It is the best ride ever!

Christmas morning at my parents house. Thanks to Brent and Sheree and Rog and Jill for the enjoyable Christmas memories.

Craziness

Christmas time is always a super busy time of year. I have been crazy busy making hats. I love making them, but sometimes wonder what I get myself into each year. I am sure Oli is going to have many memories of playing with yarn while mom is crocheting on the couch.

Oliver is busy and into everything. I love watching him explore. Today, I found Oliver wearing Brad's shoes. I ran to get me camera, but of course, the "kodak moment"was over. Oliver blows my mind each and every day. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him!

Family

Oliver is so cruise. It is so fun to do so many fun things together as a family. Pretty standard scene here as we roll home for the night. Jordan, it is pretty cool that he is wearing the same sweater you were rocking over 20 years ago. The bugga looks pretty big next to his new nephew Calvin John Avondet. Welcome to the family buddy.

Healthy and beautiful little baby boy.

Jamie's perfect little guy, waking up to say hello.
Bedtime stories. We love this little guy so much, and are so grateful for the family we have.

Trick or Treat??

Halloween was great. Love that holiday. The only problem was...Where did all the trick or treaters go? We have lived in our house for two Halloweens and have probably had 10 trick or treaters total :(. What happened to the days where kids where running around everywhere getting there candy candy candy candy (Garfields Halloween).

Gym Shmim

Since I've had Oli, I haven't gone to the gym. I am able to get my cardio in for the week by running outside or on my treadmill. However, I have been seriously lacking in the weight lifting department. Lately, I have been walking to the grocery store. On the way home I push the stroller with one arm and do curls with the grocery bags with the other arm. Yes, I get some crazy looks from the cars passing by, but I guess I do what I can. So, until I am working out in a gym again I will continue lifting with my grocery bags and soup cans. Who knows, maybe I can write a book about it someday and make millions.

My dumbell (above)and lifting partner (below). Who could ask for anything more?
